2가지 anti-thrombotic drugs: anti-coagulants and anti-platelet drugs 구분

- Anticoagulants slow down clotting, thereby reducing fibrin formation and preventing clots from forming and growing.

> low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) / Warfarin / NOAC

fibrin 형성 억제

cardiac embolic disease, Atrial fibrillation 등에 사용

 

 

- Antiplatelet agents prevent platelets from clumping and also prevent clots from forming and growing.

> aspirin, clopidogrel, dipyridamole, and abciximab

혈소판의 활성화, 부착을 억제한다.

large artery disease(ex. artherosclerosis) 등에 사용
